a todos, mi nombre es Didy Ezra, y cumplí 24 el
19 de mayo.

Everybody, my name is Didy Ezra, and i turned 24 in 19/5.
Cuantos
años tenias cuando escuchaste Psychedelic Trance
por primera vez?
How old where you when you
first listened to psychedelic trance?
Yo
tenia como 12 años de edad cuando escuché
mi primer track de Psy e inmediatamente me enamoré
del estilo, sonaba muy interesante para mi y como medio
año despues decidi que queria comenzar a hacer
musica, y lo hice.
I
was something like 12 years old when i heard my first
Psy track and strait fell in-love with the style, it sounded
really interesting for me, and like a half year after,
i decided that i want to start to make some music - and
so i did.
Que
tipo de musica solias escuchar antes del Psy Trance?
What
kind of music you used to listen before psy trance?
Basicamente
musica de tendencias principales (Pop, Rock, Hip Hop,
Dance, House, etc).
Basically
Mainstream music (Pop, Rock, Hip Hop, Dance, House etc).
Estudiaste
alguna carrera??
Did
you study a career?
Yep,
estudie una carrera como Diseñador Grafico y hoy
en dia la uso principalmente como hobbie.
Yep,
i did study a career as a Graphic Designer and today i
am using it mostly as a hobby.
Que
es lo mas triste que has visto en una Rave?
What's
the saddest thing you've seen in a rave?
Vi
a alguien morir frente a mi cara en un fiesta, i fue algo
muy triste, Estoy casi seguro de que fue una sobredosis
de alguna droga - asi que cuidado gente - y siempre recuerden
que ahi una pqeueña linea entre diversion loca
y 1 semana en el hospital (en un buen caso).
I saw someone
dyeing in-front of my face in a party, and it was really
a sad think. I am almost sure that it was an overdose
of some kind of drug - so watch out people - and remember
always that there is a thin limit between crazy fun and
1 week in the hospital (in the good case).
Has
escuchado algun "Live Act" mexicano?
Have
you ever heard any mexican live act?
Claro,
e esuchado muchos de ellos tocando conmigo en muchas fiestas
a traves de los años en Mexico. Los nombres que
recuerod en este momento son sharigraman , Virtual attack,
Beat controllers, Barak y ahi algunos mas pero no puedo
recordar en este momento.
Sure,
i heard alot of them playing with me in many partys over
the years in Mexico. The names i remember for the moment
is Sharigrama, Virtual Attack, Beat Controllers, Barak
and there are few more but i cant remember at the moment.

sorpresas o cosas nuevas nos traeras para el Solar vision
3?
What
suprises or new things will you bring us for solar vision
3?
CPrimero
que nada, el festival solar vision 3 va a ser uno muy
especial, y habrá una sorpresa especial con el
LIVE de Bizzare Contact, pero no puedo decir mas excepto
que va a ser la primera vez para mi tambien, asi que -
ESPEREN LO INESPERADO.
First
of all, the Solar Vision 3 festival is going to be a really
special one - and there will be a special surprise coming
up with Bizzare Contact's LIVE, but i cant tell more then
this except is going to be a first time for me also, so
- EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED.

cree Didi Ezra que ah aportado al psy trance?
What
does Didi Ezra think that he has aported to psy trance?
En
una pregunta muy pesada, pero yo creo que quien se supone
que debe contestarla es la gente que escucha mi musica,
ellos son los unicos que realmente pueden decir que traje
a la escena Psy.
Pero si insistes, yo diria que traje una especie diferente
de Felicidad Combinada con Agresion - incluye mucha "MUSICA"
en ella, y no solo buenos beats.
Its
a really heavy question, but i think that who suppose
to answer it - is the people who listen to my music, they
are the only one who can really say what i brought to
the psy scene.
But if you insist, i would say i brought a different kind
of Happiness Combined with Aggression - includes a lot
of "MUSIC" in it, and not only nice beats.
Que
motiva a Bizzare Contact a producir musica?
What
does motivate Bizzare Contact to produce music?
Primero
que nada, es la multitud fiel, ellos que van cada vez
a las fiestas a escucharme, ustedes son los que mas me
motivan!
Aparte
de eso, ahi muchas cosas incluso cosas de un dia normal
que pueden inspirarte para ir al estudio y crear musica.
First
of all, is my loyal crowed, who comes every time to the
parties to hear me - you are the ones who motivates me
the most!
Except that, there are many things even a normals day
things that can gives you the inspiration to go inside
the studio and create music.
Recibiste
apoyo de algun DJ para aprender a producir o lo hiciste
tu solo?
Did
you recieve support from a DJ to learn how to produce
or did you learned by yourself?
Yo
aprendi a producir por mi mismo, desde que tenia 13. Yo
estaba luchando con la computadora por entender como funcionaba
el programa de computadora (Impulse Tracker, un antiguo
DOS tracker), y desde entonces no pude deja de hacer musica.
Desde ahi las cosas se aceleraron mucho y estuve cambiando
programas con el tiempo (Fruitty loops, Reason) y entonces
encontre a mi verdadero amor - Cubase (que estaba en la
version 5.1)
Ahora,
cuando tenia 17 y estaba previamente trabajando en Cubase,
hubo un chico que me apoyo al comienzo y me ayudo a conseguir
sonidos frescos, y dandome criticas de mi musica. Este
chico es Arik Maimone de Delirious, y hasta hoy en dia,
estoy muy agradecido por lo que hizo.
I
learned to produce by myself, since i was 13. i was fighting
with the computer to understand the way that the music
program worked (Impulse Tracker, an old DOS tracker),
and since then i couldn't stop to make music. From there
the things got forward really fast, and i was switching
programs with the time (Fruity Loops, Reason) and then
i found my real love - Cubase (Which was on 5.1 Version).
Now,
in the time i was 17 and was already working on cubase
- there was one guy who supported me in the beginning
and helped me with getting fresh sounds, and giving reviews
to my music. This guy is Arik Maimone from Delirious -
and till today, i am really thankful for what he did.
Que piensa Bizzare Contact
de la guerra?
What
does Bizzare Contact think about the War?
Tan
simple como es - Bizzare Contact cree que no deberia haber
guerra, se supone que todos debemos vivir en paz y armonia
y disfrutar la vida hasta el fin de esta. Pero esos solo
es un sueño no?
Simple
as it is - Bizzare Contact thinks there shouldn't be a
war, everybody suppose to live in Peace & Harmony
and enjoy life till the end of them. but thats only a
dream, neh?
Que futuro vez en la escena
psy trance?
What
future do you see in psy trance scene?
Creo
que al final del dia, las cosas cambian todo el tiempo
y no podemos esperar el futuro. pero, yo realmente pienso
que esta escena es mas fuerte que todas esas modas que
vienen y se van como si nunca hubieran existido en absoluto
Psy
trance a estado luchando por existir por mucho tiempo,
y como vez hoy en dia, en las fiestas - ahi estamos y
no creo que vayamos a otro lugar en el futuro.

I
think that at the end of the day, things all the time
changes and we cant expect the future - but, i really
do believe that this scene is stronger then all of that
fashion things that comes and goes like it didn't exist
at all.
Psy
Trance is fighting for a long time on existing, and as
you see today, on the parties - we are there, and i dont
think we are going somewhere in the upcoming future.

This is the right place to thank the Party Organizers
who are risking their own pockets - to keep this scene
alive - SO THANKS TO ALL OF YOU OUT THERE !

a todos, mi nombre es Didy Ezra, y cumplí 24 el

Si
hablas de la gente que descarga musica de internet, creo
que esta totalmente BIEN descargar musica del internet,
escucharla - y despues de eso, si realmente la disfrutaste,
solo ir y apoyar a los artistas comprando su CD, llendo
a sus shows y millones de otras formas.
Cuando
es otro tipo de pirateria, solo tengo una cosa que decir
- "No existe la mala publicidad"
Que tan dificil consideras
que es hacer un versus en un track?
How
hard do you consider it is to make a versus in a track?
Yo
nunca haria un track VS si no me gusta la musica del artista
con el que voy a trabajar - ja, y tambien debe ser una
buena persona - por que la musica es todo sobre energia
positiva, y cusndo mezclas malas energias con la musica
- las consecuencia no son buenas, para mi.
I
would never make a VS track if i dont like the music of
the artist that i am working with - ha, and also he must
be a good person - because music is all about positive
energy, and when u mix bad energies with music - the consequences
is not so good, for me.
Que piensas de los covers/remixes
de canciones como Depeche Mode, Britney Spears, Gorrilaz,
etc?
What
do you think of covers/remixes of songs like Depeche Mode
Britney Spears, Gorillaz, etc?
Croe
que esta bien, siempr y cuando se haga bien - yo acepto
todo tipo de musica. Otra cosa es que a la gente le gusta
escuchar una combinacion entre sus bandas/cantantes favoritos
y su artista de psy trance favorito, y eso es lo mas cerca
que podemos estar de hacerlo. Aparte de eso nunca debemos
olvidar ser originales y crear nuevas cosas y mantener
la escena fuerte.
I
think its cool, as long as it done well - i accept any
kind of music. another thing is that people really like
to hear a combination between their favorite bands/singers
to their favorite psy trance artist, and thats the closest
we can get doing that. along that, we should never forget
to be original and create new things and keep this scene
strong.
Cual es la razon por la
que Didi Ezra para esperar tanto sin liberar un album?
What's
the reason of Didi Ezra for waiting so long whitout releasing
an album?
Esas
es una pregunta que escucho al menos 2 veces al dia, pero
la cosa es que si quisiera liberar un album desde hace
tiempo, podria. Tengo suficiente musica incluso para un
CD doble, pero, hasta que me sienta 100% de que eso es
lo que la gente quiere tener en sus manos continuare trabajando.
Una cosa que les puedo prometer gente, ya viene, e incluso
mas pronto de lo que piensan!
Thats
a question i hear at least twice a day, but the thing
is - that if i wanted to release an album long time ago,
i could. i have enough music at the moment even for a
double CD, but, until i will feel for 100% that this is
what i want people to hold in their hands - i will continue
to work.
One
thing i can promise to you people - it is coming, and
even sooner then you think!
Fue dificil para ti comprar
el equipo necesario para producir en un inicio?
Was it hard for you to afford the necesary equipment for
production in the begining?
Yo
no tenia ningun equipo al principio, trabajaba en una
computadora Pentium 3 y con ella cree el album Plastic
Fantastic (solo VST & VSTi en Cubase 5.1 con audifonos)
Todo el equipo que compre despues de eso fue con dinero
que consegui en las fechas (gigs), y ese es el modo que
creo que debia hacerse, tienes que ver primero si realmente
piensas que esto es mas que un hobbie loco, y cuando comienzas
a trabajar con el, solo toma todo el dinero que consigues
e inviertelom PERO NUNCA antes de estar realmente seguro
de que tienes algo diferente que ofrecer.
I
didn't had any equipment at the beginning, i was working
with a Pentium 3 Computer - and with it i created Plastic
Fantastic album (Only VST & VSTi on Cubase 5.1 with
Headphones).
All
the equipment i bought after it, was from the money i
got in Gigs, and thats the way i believed it should be
done, you have to check first - and see if you really
think that this is more then a crazy hobby, and when you
start to work with it, just take all the money you can
get and invest on it, BUT NEVER before you are really
sure that you have something different to offer.

por que decidiste separarte de Kfir (Phanatic)?
Could
you tell us in general why did you decided to separate
from Kfir (Phanatic)?
Es
muy simple, decidimos que teniamos mas potencial separados
que juntos. Decidimos juntos el separarnos y hasta hoy
en dia seguimos trabajando juntos y siendo mejores amigos
como antes.
Its
really simple, we decided that we have more potential
separated then together. We decided together to split
up, and till this day we are still working alot together
and staying best friends like before.
En el momento que Bizzare
Contact se separa, que paso por tu mente?
In
the moment that Bizzare Contact gets separated what passed
for you mind?
Estaba
un poco preocupado, por que no queria perder todo el trabajo
que habiamos hecho, pero al final todo termino en el lado
correcto, y aqui estamos ahora.
I
was a little worried, because i didn't want to loose all
the work we did, but at the end everything ended of the
right side - and here we are today.
Algunas vez haz pensado
que hubiera pasado si nunca se hubieran separado?
Have
you ever thougth of what would've happened if you guys
hadn't got separated?
No,
por que aun trabajamos juntos, asi que la unico que podriamos
extrañar es la musica que no creamos, pero la cosa
es que hemos creado mucha musica juntos desde entonces,
asi que no ahi ningun problema en absoluto.
No,
because we are still working together, so the only thing
we could miss is the music we didnt create - but the thing
is that we created alot of music since then so - there's
no problem at all.
Quien tomó la decision
de dejarte quedar el nombre del proyecto (Bizzare Contact)?
Who
took the decision of letting you keep the name of the
project
(Bizzare Contact)?
Decidimos
juntos que yo me quedaria el nombre Bizzare Contact y
Kfir comenzaria un nuevo proyecto solo y yo lo apoyaria
con todo lo que necesesitara, y asi lo hicimos.
We
decided together that i will keep the name Bizzare Contact
and Kfir will start a new solo project - and i will support
him with anything he needs - and so we did.
Que piensas del Dark Psy?
What do you think of the Dark Psy?
Creo
que todo tipo de musica tiene sus propias cosas, mientras
este bien producida (en el modo profesional, no el super
amateur), no ahi ningun problema en absoluto, y ahi mucha
gente que le gusta mas este estilo que cualquier otro,
asi que quienes somos nosotros para estar en desacuerdo?
I
think that every kind of music has its own thing, as long
as it well produced (in the Professional way, not the
super amateur one) - there is no problem at all, and there
are alot of people who like this style more then other
ones - so, who are we to disagree?
Que consejo le das a toda
la gente ahi fuera que quiere comenzar a producir?
What
advise would you give to all the people out there that
wants to start producing?
para
todos ustedes, en estos dias, comprar equipo externo es
ridiculo por que tienen todas las herramientas del mundo
para hacer la mejor musica solo en sus computadoras!
Asi que, todos ustedes que quieren comenzar, NO compren
ningun equipo externo. gasten su dinero en un bonito myspace
o cualquier otra herramienta de promocion.
Ah, y sean creativos, eso es lo mas importante
P.D. Si solo supieran el equipo que usan el 95% de los
artistas que les gustan, realmente se sorprenderian ;)
For
all of you out there - In this days, buying external equipment
is ridicules because you have all the tools in the world
to make the best music you can - only with your computers!
So, for all of you out there who wants to start, do NOT
buy any external equipment - spend your money on a nice
myspace and any other kind of promotion tools.
Ah,
and be creative, Thats the most important.
P.S. If you only knew with what equipment 95% of the artists
you like work, you would be really surprised ;)
